Inscryption Mobile Status
Inscryption is being made for phones. The announcement landed in October 2026, around the game’s fifth year. As of 4 Nov 2026 the studio had not given a release day, a price, or a store. There is no official APK. Pages offering a free Android file are not the publisher.
What the announcement actually said
Three write-ups from October 2026 agree on the narrow point: a mobile version is in development. ixbt.games (26 Oct 2026) and a VG Times headline both say there is no new content attached to that announcement. Digital Trends’ headline and date confirm the announcement even where the article body was cut off by the page chrome. I am not upgrading “in development” into “out this year” or “App Store only.”
The same reports say the developers answered questions about a sequel and about extra content by pointing at Pony Island 2: Panda Circus on 27 Apr 2027, and by saying Inscryption itself is not getting a new story expansion. That is a separate fact from the phone port. I keep them in different sentences so a phone port does not get described as a sequel.
What I will not link
Search results for “inscryption apk” and “inscryption online” point at files and browser embeds that the official site does not list. The official site’s store row is Steam, Humble, GOG, Epic, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. Until a phone store appears on that row or on a studio post, this page’s answer stays: announced, not released.
If you already own the game on PC or a console, nothing about the phone announcement changes your copy. Kaycee’s Mod, the acts, and the puzzle answers on this site are about the released game.
