Geck
The Geck costs nothing. It has 1 power and 1 health, no sigil on the base card, and the reptile tribe. It is rare. In Act I it shows up in the rare pool. Spanish searches for “geco” are this card. I am keeping the English name Geck because that is the card title on the wiki page I used.

Card
Free 1/1 that scales with Campfire buffs and sigils; best used as a free sacrifice or as a Fecundity/Unkillable carrier.
Rare card pool in Act I; the exact offer source is not documented on the wiki page.

Reading
A free card is a sacrifice that does not cost a turn of tempo, and it is also a body you can throw in front of a hit. That double use is the whole card. Campfire buffs stick to it the same way they stick to anything the survivors do not eat, with the obvious difference that the survivors can eat a gecko. Fecundity and unkillable are the two sigils people chase for it. In Kaycee’s Mod, fecundity copies a card once rather than forever. I am not going to promise an infinite gecko engine under that ruleset.
If you are comparing it with a squirrel: a squirrel also costs nothing, but squirrels live in the side deck, cannot take campfire buffs, and cannot be fused by the mycologists. The Geck can. That is the gap. I do not have a sourced drop rate for the rare pool, so “how often” stays blank. The deck you build is the rate.
