Inscryption Lore
Luke Carder, called The Lucky Carder, follows coordinates from an old pack, digs up a floppy, and is pushed to keep playing. GameFuna denies the game and sends someone to collect it. Kaycee Hobbes dies in a fire before the mod that carries her name. The four scrybes contest the disk. P03’s goal is to upload the game. OLD_DATA and the Karnoffel Code are the ARG layer, tied to The Hex and Pony Island.
What I will not flatten
A full character-by-character map from Pony Island is thinner in my sources than the Inscryption plot. Lou Natas and the other cameos belong in a table I have not finished from two independent write-ups, so I am not printing a cameo grid. The safe statement is: this game is in a line with Pony Island and The Hex, and the ARG is how that line shows itself.
“How meta” is the frame. You are playing a game about a person playing a game, and the scrybes know they are cards. That sentence is the structure. The beat-by-beat belongs on the endings page once you want the order.
