Inscryption on PS5 and PS4

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 received Inscryption on 30 Aug 2022. Metacritic’s PS5 critic score is 87, against 85 on PC. The PlayStation store page is the buy link. I do not have a separate physical-edition price I can cite for 4 Nov 2026, so that number is blank.

Release and review scores

The 87 is a critic aggregate, not a user score, and not a score I made. It is tied to the PS5 listing on Metacritic. PS4 shares the release day in the sources I used; I am not giving PS4 its own Metacritic number because I did not record one.

The PlayStation store offers the digital PS4/PS5 edition. A physical-disc purchase requires a separate retailer listing; current disc stock and pricing are not established here. Updated console builds include Kaycee’s Mod.

Trophies

PSNProfiles hosts a trophy list for the PS5 version. I am not pasting every trophy name into this guide. The ones I discuss elsewhere are the ones with a second source: Devil’s Play for 666 damage, and Agonizing Remorse for the Archivist’s fake file deletion. Console players unlock that second one by using the hammer on the captive file, which is the console alternative to moving the selected original file on PC.

There is no PS5-only act. Act I, II, III, and the finale are the same structure as PC. Early Kaycee chord shortcuts are a PC wiki note; I am not telling you to press Shift on a DualSense.
