Inscryption Achievements
Inscryption has 40 Steam achievements in total: 30 from the original game and 10 from Kaycee’s Mod. Devil’s Play belongs to Act II and the official wording asks for over 666 damage. Bad Moon requires a Kaycee’s Mod victory against Leshy with the Moon intact. Too Fast Too Soon is a boss event, not an achievement.
Complete Steam achievement checklist
The table covers the current Steam list, including hidden story achievements, so reading the conditions reveals major story turns. Use the Act column to plan a chapter visit and the filter to find a name. These are Steam conditions; PlayStation trophy packaging and platform-specific interactions can differ. Nintendo Switch does not use Steam’s achievement service.
Story milestones normally arrive as you advance through the cabin, the four Scrybe temples, Botopia and the finale. Optional tasks have a narrower window: Squirrel damage and the Angler’s hook belong to the cabin; card collection, the Bone Lord offering and the large-damage target belong to Act II; bounty hunters, the Trader and the Archivist belong to Act III.

Agonizing Remorse: PC and console
On PC, public guides describe letting the file-created card die, then moving or deleting the actual file selected for that card before finishing the Archivist battle. Deleting only the new explanatory text note is not the documented condition. Use a disposable copy if choosing to pursue this optional achievement; moving a file is reversible. The game’s fiction does not automatically delete the selected file.
Console guides describe destroying the file card, including with the hammer, without managing a real desktop file. This difference is why the checklist does not give one universal deletion instruction. The linked Steam discussion, PC achievement guide and Xbox guide record the different paths. For Devil’s Play, build the damage engine in Act II; a large Act I Ouroboros attack does not satisfy the official Act II wording.
FAQ
Is there an achievement for maximum damage?
Devil’s Play asks for over 666 damage in Act II. The official Steam wording does not describe an Act I maximum-damage achievement.
Is Too Fast Too Soon an achievement?
No. It is Leshy’s line when eight Grizzlies replace a phase.
