Inscryption Totems

You build a totem from a head and a body. The head is a tribe. The body is a sigil that tribe will wear. The woodcarver hands over one piece each time you meet, so the first visit cannot finish a totem. At seven pieces, the next visit pays a random amalgam with a sigil instead of another piece.

Pieces that matter

The squirrel head is not a drop. It is the reward in the fourth drawer of the cabin cabinet, after the safe key. Once the third painting turns your squirrels into bees, an insect head shows up in the same conversation. A squirrel totem is strong because every fight deals you a squirrel. Put a useful sigil on that tribe and the side deck becomes a plan.

Boss totems in Kaycee’s Mod assign a tribe to a boss: Prospector and canine, Angler and avian, Trapper and reptile, Leshy and insect. That is a challenge modifier, not a piece you carve. I am not linking a 3D file. No license I checked lets me host the game’s totem mesh, so “totem 3d” stops at this explanation.

FAQ

How do totems work?

Head picks the tribe. Body picks the sigil. You need two woodcarver visits to hold both.

Where is the squirrel totem head?

The fourth drawer in the cabin cabinet.
