Ring Worm
Ring Worm costs 1 blood, with 0 power and 1 health, and no sigil printed on the card. It is an insect. The Trader sells it and card-choice nodes can offer it. The Prospector’s boulder reward pool does not include it. Most runs only see one copy, unless you started with the One True God deck in Kaycee’s Mod.

Card
Ring Worm can be eaten when you risk additional campfire upgrades. If consumed, it poisons the survivors, leaving later campfires in that run safe to use. If spared, it keeps the upgrades.
Bought from the Trader or offered at a card-choice node; excluded from the Prospector boulder reward pool.

Reading
A campfire can consume Ring Worm. Losing this card is the intended trade: the survivors then disappear from subsequent campfires in the same run, letting other cards receive upgrades without the consumption risk. This benefit does not carry into a new run. ScreenRant and Inscryption Wiki independently describe this interaction.
Ring Worm also satisfies the Trial of the Ring when drawn for that trial. Keeping it for the trial and offering it to the campfire are different uses; a consumed card is no longer in your deck.
