Inscryption Map Symbols
These icons are the Act I and Kaycee’s Mod trail, which is rebuilt every run. A campfire can buff a card or eat it. The ring trial lets you through if you hold the ring, or if you draw Ouroboros or Ring Worm. Act II is a place you walk, not a row of these symbols.

Legend
Match the shape you can see on the route to the icon cue below. The table uses written descriptions rather than copied game artwork. Normal card-selection nodes, battles and bosses are different encounters even when their symbols all involve cards or skulls.
Trial of the Ring: carry the ring from the clock, or draw Ring Worm or Ouroboros. At a campfire, survivors can eat Ring Worm; if they do, they disappear from later campfires in that run. This interaction is described independently by ScreenRant and Inscryption Wiki.

FAQ
What is the campfire icon?
The campfire upgrades a card, with a consumption risk when you push further. If survivors consume Ring Worm, they disappear from later campfires during that run.
Do these icons exist in Act II?
No. Act II is a pixel world map. Act III is the factory. This legend is the cabin trail.
