Bone Lord

At the Act I bone altar, sacrificing any card grants the minor boon: +1 bone at the start of each fight. Sacrificing a black goat grants the full boon: +8 bones each fight. Sacrificing a pelt grants nothing. The first sacrifice also places a goat skull in the cabin, which later matters to the ARG. Act II moves him under Grimora’s crypt, and the key is an ancient obol made from two broken halves.

Reading

Act III uses a holo key for a special encounter. I am not turning his Act III dialogue about recording into a reward. It is a story beat. The boons above are the mechanical part, and they are the reason the node is worth a detour on a bones deck.

The altar is a map node, not a character you recruit. If the icon legend and this page disagree, trust the boon numbers here and the icon name on the map page. Both came from the events material and the character page.
