Inscryption Review Scores
Metacritic’s PC score for Inscryption is 85, from 54 critic reviews. The PS5 score on the same site is 87. I am not adding a user score and I am not inventing a third number for Switch or Xbox. Steam’s review count moves; a snapshot used in research said 136,133 reviews, and I am not refreshing that into a fake live ticker.
What the scores are not
A score from 2021 measures the launch build’s reviews. Kaycee’s Mod arrived in March 2022 and the ports came later. I will not pretend the 85 includes a 2026 re-review. Scary, as a search, is the tone: the cabin is horror-framed, the violence is mostly on a scale of teeth, and the late story is meaner than the first hour. That is a description, not a content-rating citation. Read the store page for the rating in your country.
